| When we first contacted Peter in early spring we were concerned with the state of our yard etc and wondered if we should offer an allowance. We dealt with the Steeles, and it was the smartest move that we ever made. We had decided to move to Ontario for work related reasons and placed our home for sale with one of the larger agencies in the Halifax Metro Area. The agents did get a couple of showings, but we were unable to find anyone who was ready to sign an agreement. After three months we took the house off the market because the agents did not keep us informed about anything related to the sale and did not seem interested in our needs. We felt that we were "signed and forgotten about".
We decided to give the Steeles a try....
We were amazed by the energy and professional dealings that both Julie and Peter provided. Suddenly we were showing the house to a lot of potential buyers and we received telephone and written feedback after every showing. We were told what the people liked and disliked about the property/neighbourhood and what they actually bought and where. This helped a great deal in marketing the property. In a short time, we had received several offers, and settled on one that suited us.
The Steeles continued to follow up with us right to the closing and were very friendly and easy to deal with. We have no doubt that it would have taken a lot longer to sell the property and maybe at a lower price, if we had used another agent. We were able to close the sale and move, on the date that we had planned.
The experience of dealing with Julie and Peter was very pleasant and we have no hesitation in highly recommending them to anyone who is really interested in selling (or buying) a home or property.
